What’s Going On in the Palm Beach Schools?

The July meeting will focus on some of the appalling things happening in our local school system.
This fight is national in scope, and our children are being taught to see themselves and evaluate others primarily through their race, not by the “content of their character”. Martin Luther King would be appalled at the turn this has taken, and the proponents of CRT would like to send us back to the days of segregation. We need to push back against the rhetoric that portrays America as steeped in “Systemic Racism”.
“Activist Mom” Jen Showalter will be our guest speaker.
With two special needs children, Jen has seen firsthand the failed policies that have had negative impacts on the students and their families. A fighter, she has been organizing resistance at School Board meetings and in the streets to oppose the mask mandates and the Marxist principles of Critical Race Theory (CRT). She would like to establish transparency and accountability to the School Board and Senior staff, and “scrub and dismantle the socialist ideology & indoctrination through any programs or curriculum, including but not limited to: CRT, racial equity, and an anti- American curriculum.” Jen will help us understand the state of play in our local schools and suggest some ways we can join the fight.
Jen has also decided to be a candidate for School Board District 6.
