SCOTT BROWN WINS IN MASSACHUSETTS
Update – with 75% counted, AP calls the race for Scott Brown and Martha Coakley concedes. THIS IS HUGE!
Clearly a referendum on the Obama Agenda, the people of liberal Massachusetts have rejected one party rule. On Fox, in a Frank Luntz focus group, even democrats who voted for Coakley were saying they wanted Health Care legislation to fail – they are uncomfortable with one party calling all the shots.
Tomorrow is the first day of the new reality in Washington DC – expect many democrats in the House to mutiny now – Nancy Pelosi and Barrack Obama will double down but will not prevail.
An amazing thing is happening in Massachusetts. Next Tuesday is a special election to fill the seat vacated by the death of Ted Kennedy. One of the bluest of the states, it should have been unthinkable that State Senate Republican Scott Brown could win this race in Massachusetts against the popular Attorney General Martha Coakley, and a few weeks ago she had a 30 point lead.
But then Brown began running as the “41st Senator” – a vote against Obamacare and the rest of the Progressive Agenda that could preserve the Republican filibuster, and effectively end “one party rule”. Coakley on the other hand will support the agenda down the party line, and President Obama is campaigning for her as a reliable ally.
The polls have tightened as the race has become “nationalized”, and one poll even shows Scott Brown in the lead, causing weeping and gnashing of teeth all across the Progressive landscape.
THIS RACE CAN BE WON. With your help – donate to the campaign HERE, and login to the campaign site HERE to make calls on behalf of Scott Brown from the comfort of your home.
Marco Rubio is asking his supporters to help Scott as are other conservative leaders. Please help push Scott across the finish line next Tuesday, January 19.
If you participate in making calls for the campaign, please use whatever script they provide, but identify yourself as a member of the Republican Club of the Palm Beaches who is contributing their time to help restore the two party system in America. Whether you are a Republican, Democrat, or Independent, you are also an American and have a vested interest in stopping the unprecedented changes that are coming to our way of life if two party rule is not restored.
Marco Rubio on Brown/Coakley Race
Editors Note:
In Massachusetts, the unthinkable is happening – a Republican has come within striking distance of winning the seat held for decades by the “Liberal Lion” himself – Ted Kennedy. Make no mistake – this election has been nationalized and is a referendum on the Obama Agenda – particularly healthcare. The attached letter from the Rubio campaign is asking for help – to elect a conservative in one of the bluest states of the union, and start rolling back one-party rule.
If you decide to help out and make calls for Scott Brown – please identify yourselves as a member of the Republican Club of the Palm Beaches, making the call because one party rule is bad for America.

Time to support a Massachusetts’ Candidate
Democrat candidate, Martha Coakley and Republican (CONSERVATIVE) candidate, Scott Brown are only 2 pts. apart. Brown will vote AGAINST the Health Care Bill and wants tax CUTS. Yesterday he raised over $1 million. The Dems are sending in all their top dogs. Please go to brownforussenate.com and donate $25 or more. It is that important.
Allen West Response to Harry Reid’s Racial Comments
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is quoted in the new book “Game Change” calling Obama a “light-skinned” black man “with no Negro dialect unless he wanted to have one.” Many found this offensive, but the democrat establishment has rallied round their Senate leader.
Allen West on the other hand had this to say:
RCPB uses Social Media
RCPB has joined the Social Media craze and has taken active participation in Facebook, Twitter and MeetUp. “Our purpose is to use these mediums to deliver our message of education and awareness of local, state and national issues to as many as we can” stated Melissa Andrews, President of RCPB.
RCPB is trying to further its reach by offering a monthly evening program for individuals who are unable to attend a monthly lunchtime event.
The call for action is simple: Join us on Facebook RCPB – Republican Club of the Palm Beaches, Follow us on Twitter – gopclubpb and RSVP for events on Meetup – Republican Club of the Palm Beaches.
Bill McCollum issues statement on Healthcare Reform constitutionality
Bill McCollum (also candidate for FL Governor) just issued a statement and sent a letter to other states’ AGs questioning the constitutionality of the use of the Commerce Clause to force an individual mandate for health insurance. He is also questioning the constitutionality of the ‘Nebraska compromise’ also known as the ‘Cornhusker Kickback‘.
The Palm Beach Post blog posting can be found here. And while there are links to McCollum’s statement and letter in the article – here are direct links to his statement and his letter.

Here comes Immigration Reform – HR 4321
As if there weren’t enough going on, HR 4321, Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America’s Security and Prosperity Act was submitted to the House on 12/15. Summary of the Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America’s Security and Prosperity Act 2009 is a very detailed description by The Immigration Policy Center, a group that supports it. I urge you to read the summary. It is easier to read than the actual bill, which is 645 pages long!
HR 4321 has been posted on Thomas. It is sponsored by 92 members and has been referred to several committees. Go to the bill directly here for bill status over time , text and any actions that are taken.
Video of Allen West on Hannity – if you missed it!
Allen did a great job on Hannity, 12/15. For once, the focus wasn’t on his past in the military, but about the video of him speaking at The Revolution a few months ago, and his values.
